Einladung zum nächsten bundesweiten Treffen "Polizeibrutalität und
rassistischen Kontrollen" in Düsseldorf vom 5.-7. Dezember 2003
in der Fachhochschule Düsseldorf, Georg-Glock-Str. 15, Haupteingang

Jede Form von Schikanierung, Einschüchterung und physischer Gewalt durch die
Polizei ist inakzeptabel. Dies kann gestoppt oder verhindert werden, doch
wir müssen aktiv protestieren um diese Missstände als ein ernsthaftes Thema
von
öffentlichem Interesse aufzuzeigen.

Agendavorschlag:

Freitag: 18 Uhr
- Diskutieren und festlegen der zeitlichen und inhaltlichen Strukturierung
des kommenden Tages
- Kurze Berichte der anwesenden Personen/Gruppen

Samstag, 10 Uhr
- Vorstellen der Kampagne und der Arbeitsgruppen für Interessierte, die
bislang nicht teilgenommen haben. Aufzeigen der Möglichkeiten des direkten
Eingreifens und der politischen bzw. juristischen Unterstützung.
- Berichte und Informationen über aktuelle Fälle von Polizeibrutalität und
rassistischen Kontrollen.
- Fortsetzung der bestehenden Arbeitsgruppen:
*Positionspapier
*Individuelle Fälle und Vernetzung
*Infohefte zu rassistischen Kontrollen, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit (Flyer,
Poster, etc.)
- Anschliessend Berichte aus den Arbeitsgruppen.
- Anstehende Veranstaltungen / Termine der Kampagne gegen
Polizeibrutalität und rassistische Kontrollen.

Sonntag, 9 - 14 Uhr
- Analyse und Bewertung des bisherigen Verlaufes der Kampagne.
- Wie handlungsfähig ist das Netzwerk momentan? - Wie ist die
Vernetzung mit Flüchtlingen und MigrantInnen? ? Wie sollte das System, auf
dem
rassistische Polizeikontrollen basieren, thematisiert und
demaskiert/angegriffen
werden, um die Kampagne wirkungsvoll zu machen? ? Kritik, Anspruch,
konstruktive Gestaltung -
- Nächstes Treffen: Datum und Ort

Police Brutality and Racist Controls
Invitation for the nationwide meeting in Düsseldorf from 5th to 7th December
2003
Location: Fachhochschule Düsseldorf, Georg-Glock-Str. 15, Haupteingang

Any kind of harassment, intimidation and physical violence is not tolerable.
These kind of police practice can be stopped or hindered, but therefore
active protest is necessary to make these systematic means of oppression a
public
case.

Agenda proposal

Friday - 18:00
- Discussion and agreement on the schedule (time and topics) for Saturday
- Brief report of the present persons / groups

Saturday - 10:00
- Introduction and presentation of the campaign and the working groups for
those, who participate for the first time. Overview of the possibilities of
resistance, direct intervention and of political and legal support.
- Reports and information on actual cases of police brutality and racist
controls
- Carry on with the existing working groups
* Position paper
* Individual cases and networking
* material for the public (flyer, poster?) and Info leaflets on police
brutality
- Thereafter summary of the working groups
- Coming events and actions of the campaign against police brutality and
racist control

Sunday - 9:00 to 14:00
- Analysis and evaluation of the campaign
What is the current action potential of the campaign? How is the connection
to refugees and migrants / other groups? How can the system, on which the
racist controls and daily police practices are based, be taken as a theme
and be
uncovered / attacked? - Critics, demands, constructive shaping of the
campaign
- Next meeting: date and location
