Isolationshaft gegen linke politische Gefangne / Kriegsgefangene

Nach den Angriffen gegen das WTC / Pentagon am 11. Sept. wurden in
den USA die politischen Gefangenen / Kriegsgefangene, u.a. Philip
Berrigan, Sundiata Acoli, Carlos Alberto Torres, Richard Williams,
José Solís, Antonio Camacho Negron, Juan Segarra Palmer, Tom Manning,
Marilyn Buck, in 'administrative Segregation' (d.h. Isolationshaft)
verlegt und eine Nachrichtensperre verhaengt. Mit 'administrative'
ist eine reine verwaltungtechnische (willkuerliche) Entscheidung
gemeint, die vom Verhalten der Gefangene unabhaengig ist und benutz
wird, um zu versuchen sie zu isolieren und zu brechen.
Russell 'Maroon' Shoats z.B. ist seit fast 10 Jahren in
administrative Isolationshaft. Einzig und alleine entscheidet die
Gefaengnisleitung wann eine solche Massnahme aufgehoben wird, die
Gefangene haben keinen Einfluss darauf.

Bis jetzt wurde offensichtlich nur Marilyn Buck aus der
Isolationshaft entlassen. Marilyn wurde am 24. Sept. in den offenen
Strafvollzug zurueckverlegt - "Ich habe mich gefreut frische Luft zu
atmen. Und ich habe Glueck gehabt. Ich hoffe, dass alles unternommen
wird, um die Rueckverlegung der anderen GenossInnen in Isolationshaft
und / oder ohne Kontakt zur Aussenwelt zu erreichen."

Die Kampagne fuer die Freilassung von Sundiata Acoli ruft zu einer
Telefon/Fax-Aktion heute zwischen 10 und 12 Uhr Ortszeit (BRD: 16 bis
18 Uhr) gegen die Isolationshaft und Kontaktsperre von Sundiata (und
die anderen) auf. Aber auch spaeter, wenn es nicht anders geht. Wer
nicht faxen oder telefonieren kann, kann eine eMail schicken:

Dear Ms. Sawyer:

I am extremely concerned about the situation of Sundiata Acoli/Clark
Squire who has been denied legal calls and legal visits since the
September 11th attacks. Immediately following the attacks, Mr. Acoli
was placed in Administrative Segregation even though he had not
committed any disciplinary infraction, and since that time he has not
been able to contact his attorney. There can be no justification for
denying a prisoner the constitutionally protected right to legal
counsel. I urge you to immediately allow Mr. Acoli to contact his
attorney and to release him from Administrative Segregation.

Greetings, i have not heard from Sundiata since the 9-11 bombing.
What i would like to do with the help of others is to do a week of
Phone/Fax/Blitz to the Federal Buearu Of Prison(FBOP) in support of
Sundiata Acoli. What i'm invisioning is to divide supporters up by
regions, for example: east-west-north-south-mid-west, identify a
contact person for each region and that contact person will be
responsible for contacting their supporters in their region and
setting up a time for the blitz. Each region will be assigned a day
of the week to do the blitz,each region should have your supporters
to give an update on their phone call or send the contact person a
copy of the fax they sent. If any region want to participate in any
designated regions day, should do so. When a contact person for each
region is identified, please forward me that contact person name/e-
mail and what time you will have your blitz. i will be the contact
person for the mid-West. Listed below is the designated day for each
region. Lets kick this off on October 9, 2001 since Monday is a
federal holiday(lie)!

Why A Call For A Phone/Fax/Blitz!

After the 9-11 bombing many Political Prisoners and Prisoners Of War
(PP/POW)were rounded up and placed in SHU(segregated housing unit)
indefinately. The so-called policy is, when a prisoner has violated
sometype of prison policy/procedures(catch-22's)you are placed in
SHU/Hole for a specific length of time. The prison official can say
you are being investigated and placed in SHU/Hole pending the
investigation. Sundiata Acoli have been in prison for the past 28yrs.
a survivor of the US governments COINTELPRO terrorist operation
against the Black Panther Party and many other individuals &
organizations that opposed imperalism in all its forms. When you call
the FBOP, please understand they will not give you any information,
the purpose of the blitz is to cause "Perfect Disorder" within their
everyday business as usual. Call your senators/representatives and
inform them of the violation of Sundiata's rights.
