Hamburg: Against the racist Schily Paper (english)

On September 10th, right before the Hamburg city election, the Society of Social-Democratic Jurists has invited Otto Schily to lecture on German immigration policy and his new bill.

- Otto Schilys bill's intended to abolish the last remaining asylum rights.

- There would be no more secure status for refugees in Germany.

- Political activity by refugees would be prevented.

- The systematic exclusion and isolation of refugees would be exacerbated through stricter limitations on staying here, new deportation camps, and broader special laws.

- The deportation process would be accelerrated.

We call on all those who respect human rights, who are against racism, and who care about human progress to defnd asylum rights.
