'Hori-Zone' The Rural Convergence Space

The Hori-zone is an autonomous, convergence space

It is a zone of self-organisation, horizontal decision making,ecology and autonomy in action. It is a radical campsite in resistance to the G8. It is space where people can organize in an open and participatory way, inviting all to take hold of their own lives and take a part in the creation of their own futures.
The site will be organised into autonomous"neighbourhoods" Each neighbourhood will strive for self-sufficiency, in both political and practical terms, but will also contribute to the running and well-being of the entire site.
The convergence space is less than one mile east of the city centre on the banks of the River Forth near Stirling Albion football club at Forth Bank Stadium just off the A91 see map at www.g8convergence2005.org
Once you are in Stirling simply follow the signs to the Forth Bank Stadium, and you will soon see signs to HORI-ZONE.
There will be frequent pick ups in the Convergence space minibuses from the Stirling train and bus station. Limited shuttles will also run from Edinburgh and Glasgow. There is some car parking next to the site, and only limited on site parking. The best way to get there is by bus or train.
