J18 greetings from Lincoln
There were several small J18 actions in Lincoln NE, with the participation of several dozen people:
11:30 - 1:00 Several groups infiltrated clothing stores in the local malls and inserted small flyers discussing the GAP sweatshop labor issues into the pockets of clothing. Flyers were handed out to passerbys.
2:30 - 4:00 Street theater was perfomed in front of several downtown banks, shedding light on wealth and income inequality. Flyers were handed out.
4:00 - 5:15 An anti-capitalism demonstration was held from in front of the Federal building. Flyers were again handed out (around 1000 in all).
5:15 A critical mass was then held.
No serious confrontations with the police.
