A new summer of resistance is coming - be it in Strassbourg, Jena or elsewhere in the world, again this year there are going to be camps at many different places - camps against heterosexism, racism, capitalism, antisemitism, sexism -, in short: against the ruling madness! We, some pink & silver-activists from last year's no-border-camp in Frankfurt are calling upon all pink & silver-activists to join in and above all: to start your camp-tour in Jena, on the 5th antiracist border camp lasting from the 12th till the 19th of July! Before telling you what brings us to Jena, we want to explain what "pink & silver" is all about.

A new summer of resistance is coming...Ob in Strassbourg, Hamburg, Jena, Cottbus oder sonstwo auf der Welt, auch dieses Jahr wird es an verschiedensten Orten Camps geben - Camps wider Heterosexismus, Rassismus, Kapitalismus, Antisemitismus, Sexismus..., kurz: wider den herrschenden Wahnsinn! Wir, einige pink & silver-AktivistInnen vom letztjährigen Grenzcamp in Frankfurt, rufen alle pink & silver-Interessierten auf, seid mit von der Partie, vor allem aber: startet eure Camp-Tour in Jena, auf dem 5. Antirassistischen Grenzcamp vom 12. - 19. Juli! Was uns nach Jena treibt, darum soll's gleich gehen. Beginnen möchten wir damit, was wir meinen, wenn wir "pink & silver" sagen...

This summer, the antiracist bordercamp with the motto "no-one is illegal" will take place for the fifth time. Like in previous years, it again focuses on the German and European border regime, targeting it within the frame of a more general and fundamental critique of society. After three camps directly on the border to Poland and Czech Republic plus the camp at the Frankfurt Airport the location we chose to go to this summer Thuringia. Taking up last year's focus of "inner borders" the fifth bordercamp intends to intervene on a wide range of levels in the debate on borders migrants and refugees have to face, like residential restriction (the obligation for refugees to stay within the boundaries of the administrative district assigned to them by the German authorities), the Immigration Act and the "War on terrorism". We also want to continue the discussions that started during the Frankfurt camp.

From July 12th till July 19th 2002 the 5th Antiracist No-Border-Camp will take place in Jena/Thüringen. We will honor Jena with our one week´s visit in order to attack - theoretically and practically - the racist conditions for the 5th time now.
On the schedule are confrontative actions, discussions on perspectives of antiracist and radical left politics, dealing with different life-realities, their relation to societal power relations and last but not least the joint organisation of camp everyday life. It will be "Reclaim the highway" after the camp, as a convoy will start out from Jena to Strasbourg to the international No-Border-Camp.
+++++ Camp 02 - a new challenge! For Free Movement! kein mensch ist illegal!

Vom 12. bis zum 19. Juli 2002 findet in Jena/ Thüringen das 5. antirassistische Grenzcamp statt. Wir werden Jena eine Woche lang mit unserem Besuch beehren, um zum nunmehr fünften Mal theoretisch wie praktisch rassistische Verhältnisse anzugreifen. Konfrontative Aktionen, Diskussionen über Perspektiven antirassistischer und linksradikaler Politik, Auseinandersetzungen um verschiedene Lebensrealitäten, ihr Zusammenhang mit gesellschaftlichen Machtverhältnissen und schliesslich die gemeinsame Organisierung des Camp-Alltags stehen auf dem Programm.
"Reclaim the Highway" wird es dann im Anschluss an das Camp heissen, wenn sich ein Konvoi auf den Weg von Jena nach Strasbourg zum internationalen no-border Camp macht.

Mittlerweile zum fünften Mal findet diesen Sommer das antirassistische Grenzcamp unter dem Logo "kein mensch ist illegal" statt. Wie in den vorangegangenen Jahren richtet sich der Fokus, eingebettet in eine allumfassende Gesellschaftskritik, auf das Grenzregime Deutschlands und Europas. Nach drei Jahren direkt an der Grenze zu Polen und Tschechien und dem Camp am Frankfurter Flughafen wurde als Austragungsort für diesen Sommer Thüringen gewählt. Anknüpfend an den Schwerpunkt "Innere Grenzen" des letzten Jahres will das fünfte Anti-Grenzcamp sich auf unterschiedlichen Ebenen und einer Bandbreite von Aktionen unter anderem in die Diskussionen um Grenzen für MigrantInnen und Flüchtlinge, Residenzpflicht, Einwanderungsgesetz und Terrorismusbekämpfung einmischen. Dabei wollen wir an das letzte Anti-Grenzcamp anknüpfen und dort begonnene inhaltliche Auseinandersetzungen weiterführen.
