Pls be inform that - Memorandum Of Understanding(MOU) between M/S Ring Shine Textile Limited in EPZ and Garments Workers Trade Unions signed on 11 may at 11 p.m.
On behalf of Ring Shine Mr.HSIAO HAI HE director,Mr.Syed Parvez Mohsin Senior Manager and M. Afzalur Rahman Co-ordinating Manager signed.
On behalf of Garments workers TU ( Bangladesh Garments Workers Unity Council)
Amirul Haque Amin - General Secretary of National Garments Workers Federation and Advisor of Bangladesh EPZ Workers Welfare Association, Advocate Delwar Hossain Khan - President of Bangladesh Jono Sadhin Garments Sramik Federation,Mr.Touhidur Rahman - Secretary General of Bangladesh Apparel Workers Federation,Abul Hossain - President of Bangladesh Garments Workers Employees Federation,Salauddin Shapan - president of Bangladesh Biplobi Garments Sramik Federation signed.

According to The MOU :

1. The Ring Shine Textile Limited Authority will pay as compensation tk 200000/ per dead worker.
2. All treatment cost for injured workers will be borne by the management.
3. Athority will withdraw all cases.
4. Authority will take all nescessary steps to release the arrested workers.
5. Bangladesh garments workers unity council(TU of garments workers federations) will co-operate for peaceful production and situation.
6. Management will pay monthly wages and overtime payment within 7th of the every next month.
7. mangement will pay the monthly wages and other payment according to the BEPZA rules.
8. Authority will pay 2 festival bonus each year.
9. Authority will pay maternity benifit and leave for the women workers.

N.B. This is the first time MOU in the EPZ of Bangladesh. Now Ring Shine factory in operation.
